Mr. David Zulak
Mr. David Zulak has been in the Massage Therapy profession since 1994 and has achieved skills that many Massage Therapists desire. Mr Zulak has been teaching for over a decade in leading schools such as Sutherland-Chan, Sir San Ford Fleming College and was the coordinator for the Alexandrian Institute's Massage Therapy program. Further, he was the director for several of Career Canada College's campuses that taught Massage Therapy. In the latter instance, he wrote the 2200 hour Massage Therapy program and lecture notes for instructors. He has had more than a dozen articles featured in Massage Therapy Canada Magazine and has been interviewed on MassageRadio.com. He is presently attending a Canadian school for Osteopathy (with over 600 hours of class time to his credit), maintaining an ongoing clinical practice, completing the final stages of a book on orthopaedic assessment for publication Spring 2010, all the while traveling internationally addressing students and trained Health Professionals. His focus and interest is anatomy, treatments, advanced techniques and both orthopaedic and osteopathic assessment skills. Also, he is, according to many in the Massage Therapy industry, the "go to guy" for assessment training and for help in treating complicated or abnormal health issues.

Mr. Zulak offers 4 three-day modules, designed for either the new graduate or experienced professional. The module topics or structures are grouped together because of their close inter-relationships in both normal function and in dysfunction.

Most are designed so that a therapist may take the three-day course to learn how to assess and treat the area under consideration to achieve maximum benefit, however, but participants can also take either the one or two day course by itself. Modules are as follows:

Module 1 - Treating the Cervical Spine and Shoulder Girdle
Day One: Treating the Shoulder (a one-day course)
Day Two and Three: Treating the Cervical Spine (a two-day course)

Module 2 - Treating the Lumbo-pelvic Complex
Day One: Treating the Hip (Innominate) and the Sacroiliac Joints (a one-day course)
Day Two & Three: Treating the Lumbar Spine (a two-day course)

Module 3 - Treating the Thoracic Spine and the Rib Cage
Day One & Two: Treating the Thoracic Spine (a two-day course)
Day Three: Day Three: Treating the Ribs (a one-day course)

The following module, however, must be taken as a three-day course. It is very in depth and requires those attending to be prepared to go into detailed study of the anatomy and function of the structures under consideration. Much more advanced techniques will be shown in this module that in Module 2:

Module 4 - Treating the Pelvis: A Detailed Assessment and Treatment of the Sacroiliac, Joints and the Lumbo-pelvic Girdle. This in depth three-day course concerns itself with assessing and treating low-back pain, sacroiliac joint dysfunctions, along with addressing pelvic pain issues.

The cost to have Mr. Zulak speak to your students, organization or association is dependent on several factors including course time, travel costs and number of days scheduled and will be determined on a case by case basis.

Bookings vary and are subject to availability.
